Lincoln, NE - A radon expert will testify Wednesday before the Nebraska Unicameral's Health and Human Services committee. Curt Drew, president of National Radon Defense, will speak in support of LB 13, a bill to require new construction in Nebraska to be radon resistant. The testimony is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, January 23rd at 1:30pm in Room 1510 of the Nebraska State Capitol.
Radon is the number one in-home risk to Nebraska homeowners and the bill from Senator Bob Krist of Omaha would eliminate that risk in newly constructed homes.
