After many years in the Home Inspection industry, Mike founded Georgia Radon Defense. He has a Chemistry degree from Clemson University and takes a scientific approach to solve the problems faced by his clients. His passion is helping homeowners maintain safe and healthy homes and finding answers for the many homeowners who believe their homes are making them sick.

Mike has an impressive list of credentials from his years in the construction and home inspection industries. Relevant to Georgia Radon Defense, he is a member of the Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA) and certified by the National Radon Proficiency Program (NRRP) as both a Measurement Provider and a Mitigation Provider.

Mike is an avid mountain biker and a super fan of his life partner, Claire Campbell, a local musician in Athens, Georgia.

    Mike gave a talk on radon to the Georgia Society of Professional Engineers. I already knew I had a radon problem and was looking at ways to mitigate it. Mike was very knowledgeable and very responsive. His crew was very professional and efficient. The radon in my home has gone from 40 down to 2.
