The WaterGuard channels were installed along the entire perimeter to capture water entering the basement. These channels all flow toward the low point, which is the sump pump basin. Both the sump pump system and perimeter drains will have new concrete installed over and around them to complete the system.
When the current owner bought the home the previous owner said the basement had never flooded. The basement flooded in the first year the new owners lived in the home.
Water was seeping into the basement during heavy periods of rain.
Here, water can be seen on the basement floor. This completely ruined the flooring and walls, which had to get demoed as a result.
The walls in the basement had blemishes and didn't look appealing.
The old sump in the basement has allowed water to seep into the basement.

This is what the basement looked like before being waterproofed. Water can be seen leaking through cracks and starting to puddle on the foundation.
