The basement before we installed our perimeter drainage system.
The team installed TripleSafe, SaniDry Sedona, CleanSpace, and Perimeter Drainage.
The walkway leading to the home's main entrance exhibited a significant structural fracture, presenting a substantial tripping hazard. This damage was primarily caused by void formation beneath the concrete slab, which compromised its ability to distribute load effectively. As a result, differential settlement occurred, with one section of the slab subsiding beneath the adjacent portion, indicating a loss of subgrade support and potential soil instability.
Moisture had caused the crawlspace to have an odor.
The drainage matting beneath the vapor barrier helps divert the water coming up through the ground right into the sump pump basin. The TripleSafe sump pump comes with multiple pumps, a battery back-up, and alarm system. This crawlspace is protected against water and will stay dry all the time!
The wall in the basement was bowing just like the other side had done a couple of years ago.
The moisture in the crawlspace led to the settlement and degradation of the cinderblocks, compromising their structural integrity. Consequently, this resulted in inadequate support for the garage above.
The TripleSafe Sump Pump system had been previously installed in the home and was operating optimally. However, due to the extensive size of the basement and the high water table surrounding it, the system was unable to capture all the water. To ensure the basement remained consistently dry, the installation of a perimeter drainage system was essential.
