The original vapor barrier was torn and covered in debris brought in from water. Eventually, the water evaporates into the air and leaves behind all the dirt and debris on the vapor barrier.
Due to moisture damage, the fiberglass insulation was completely sagging from the sub-floor, negating its purpose of insulating the home.
We are proud to be the one stop shop for whole home generators. Using our electrical and plumbing divisions we can set up the generator without any third party companies!
The floor would hold puddling water which was discoloring the foundation floor
The original basement walls only had paneling to act as protection, which resulted in discoloration on the walls and floors from years worth of water intrusion.
This crawl space had no vapor barrier to help protect the space from water intrusion.
The dirt and debris covering the vapor barrier shows that there is still a water issue.
This home was experiencing strange smells coming from their basement, indicating to the homeowners about a possible moisture issue.
