Jake presented a good plan, which avoided problems that certainly would have occurred with the plan presented by your competition. I took careful notice of the reviews on Angie's List, and call some of the references, which were supportive. Finally, I chose Johns as a company that had been in business for some time and had extensive experience installing the basement waterproofing system. The guarantee was an extremely important factor in my decision, and John's track record suggests that it will remain in business and stand by the guarantee should problems occur. This was the best part of the project. Delfino and his crew (Francisco, Aaron, Ceasar) worked incredibly hard, were polite and considerate, and provided what appears to be a good installation. I give them my strongest recommendation. How they managed to hand carry 6 yards of broken concrete up out of that basement in the time they did is beyond me. John's employees spoke highly of the company, and the benefits offered. It sounds like a well run business. Please note that the system was installed in Central Oregon at our second home on the Deschutes River, where we are dealing with a high water table issue in summer. As of this writing, the water table is nearing its summer level, the sump pumps are working, and the basement/crawl space is dry.

Cameron was awesome from the very first day that he came out to bid my project, he dove right under my house to inspect the situation and then spent hours very patiently explaining and showing me how his company could help me with my horrible crawlspace situation. What also impressed me about Cameron is that he stayed with me throughout the entire project and helped to make my project go perfectly! For installation, Manuel and the guys finished up I got a call from David he introduced himself and let me know what time he would be arriving, he was right on time. When he arrived he explained that he would be spraying the foam around the inside of my foundation which was the final step of my project. David took the time to answer all my questions and was extremely customer focused. When David finished spraying he called me and let me know i could return home. I was amazed at how thorough he was at applying the spray foam as some of the areas are very difficult to get to with all the HVAC ducting in the way. I was so impressed with the work he had done I texted him a note thanking him again after he had left my house. David was top notch and represented your company extremely well! I didn't see another place to put this so I wanted to also say that since our job was completed our heat pump runs less and finally our hard wood floors are not cold anymore. My wife and daughter are extremely happy!

This service was excellent from the sales person (Jacob) who was knowledgeable and not pushy. He explained the entire process and could easily answer my questions. The drainage system was installed quickly and professionally. The installers were courteous and cleaned up nicely after the job. They were very professional and clearly had my best interest at heart. They were excellent. This is one of a few companies that I have found here that I feel are trustworthy. Thank you for solving my problem efficiently, timely and worth the cost.

John's Waterproofing came out and encapsulated my crawlspace two years ago. When I decided it was time to finish my basement, they were the only company I called. Throughout the process the crew has been very respectful, clean and thorough. They made sure that my entire basement was sealed off and covered in plastic so that they did not get dirt or mud anywhere in my basement during the process. Recently we contacted your company for an estimate to replace our vapor barrier and had the good fortune to have Jacob Bilyeu come to our home to perform the evaluation for these services. Jacob was friendly courteous, efficient, very professional and extremely easy to deal with. Due to the comfort level, we felt with him as your representative, we elected to proceed with John's Waterproofing Company to perform the work. We provided Jacob with an 800$ check as down payment for the scope of work and he scheduled a date for the work to be completed. The service team arrived today, May 3rd and comprised of Mike, Daniel, and Rodney. What a great group! They took special precautions to protect our floors, walls, and doors by covering them with plastic, and, like Jacob Bilyeu, the three of them were friendly, proficient and gave us a feeling that we were definitely in the hands of professionals that know their trade and would execute the work to the highest standards. We first called TerraFirma but the salesman said we could dig out the entire exterior, add a membrane, drains etc for about $24,000. When I pressed for other ideas he seemed unenthusiastic. I said I would think about it and he never contacted me again. We then tried another company who was at least amenable to other approaches and gave me a quote of $12,000 for a sump pump and interior perimeter drains. Then we called John's Waterproofing and Peter came out. Peter was awesome. He had a whole suite of things that could help out in the basement and really listened and discussed our options. We weren't going for a dead dry basement that we could finish, we just wanted to get it dry and lower the humidity. So Peter and I went through all the things and came up with a plan together. In the end, we had a sump pump, perimeter drains in the basement and crawlspace, clean space barrier throughout the crawl and bright space paneling on the walls of the basement to stop humidity coming in from the walls. We also had piping installed below ground outside in which to run the gutters out to the street. All of that for only $8000. Once agreed the crews came right on schedule and finished the work ahead of time. I've waited to give a review to see the system in action. For the past week, it has been raining steadily. However in our basement is nothing but dry dust. Description of work: Our house is at the low point along several blocks and so our half basement/half crawl have always had problems with water intrusion. When it's not raining the basement has been humid and damp feeling, when it's raining the basement has had puddles of standing water. That has also caused the house to feel damp. We needed to dry out the basement and run water from the roof away from the house.
