1. Can you share the problem you had with your home that prompted you to call Dr. Energy Saver Delmarva? The problem we have with our home is the insulation in the attic and in the crawl space is outdated and damaged. That, along with the way our home was built, leaves our rooms extremely cold in the winter and very hot in the summer months which means we have higher utility bills in order to keep the home warm or cool.  2. Can you share with us your experience with the crew? My experience with the crew was great. We didn't know we had a water pipe leaking in the crawl space. The foreman of the crew took pictures and informed me of the problem. He then offered to cap off the pipe for me if I could go to the store and purchase the part. This saved me the money from having to call a plumber which would have also halted the project. Also, we had previously paid someone else to remove the old insulation from the crawl space and we found out that the job had not been fully completed. The crew removed the remaining insulation for me (for an additional charge). My only gripe is that the actual costs of removing the insulation had not been discussed.  3. Can you share with us your experience with the office staff? The office staff went above and beyond to work with my family. We hit a financial snag which meant we couldn't keep the payment schedule we had originally arranged. They were very understanding and did what they could to accommodate our situation and work out a new plan.  4. Can you share with us your experience with your sales rep? Our sales rep, Kevin, was courteous and knew his business. He took his time to listen to what we needed and then did a thorough walk-through of our home. He came prepared with information sheets and materials so we could make the best decision on how to make our home more energy efficient.  5. Did we meet your full expectations? The Dr. Energy Saver staff has definitely met my expectations.  6. On a scale of 1-10, 10 being the highest, what rating would you give us? 9.5 7. What would be the top 3 reasons you would tell a friend to hire Dr. Energy Saver Delmarva? I would recommend Dr. Energy Saver Delmarva to my friends because of the professionalism of the staff, the quality of services and because the overall experience was drama and hassle free. 8. Have you noticed any changes in the energy efficiency of your home? For example: lower utility costs? I have not yet noticed any change in my energy efficiency because we had to break the work up into phases. We still have a lot of work to be done which leaves a lot of areas that need improvements, including installing new insulation. With that being said, we will absolutely call on the Dr. Energy Saver team to come back out and do the remaining projects.  9. Why did you choose Dr. Energy Saver Delmarva versus another company? We chose Dr. Energy Saver Delmarva versus any other provider because when we had our meeting with the sales rep, he did such a great job with giving us the information we needed and actually showing us and explaining to us what our biggest problems were and how to fix them. We never got the sense that he was trying to sell us a dream or anything that we didn't absolutely need for our home.  10. Any last thoughts? I can't wait to get the rest of our projects completed so we can really see the difference in the energy efficiency of our home.

We had been talking about needing to upgrade our insulation, and immediately we noticed less draft and the heat pump working less. The Dr. Energy Saver staff and crew were very courteous and helpful. They also arrived on time and cleaned up. Between Kevin's presentation and the ad in the local paper, we had to choose Dr. Energy Saver. The staff was so respectful of our home, and comfortable to have around.

Dr. Energy Saver has been very helpful, as they have taken the time to not only discuss job placement and prospective cooperative education experiences with my students, but they have also provided useful literature for inclusion in the classroom.  I anticipate further positive relations with Dr. Energy Saver in the future.

I'm so sorry, I can't remember the girls name who answered the phone but she went over and above to accommodate an appointment that worked with our schedule. John Carpenter was very personal and explained the work. That was the most important part, him explaining the work that needs to be done to help conserve energy.

IN SHORT: Bedroom 60' away from furnace. Was cold and drafty in winter since moved there in 2009. Slept with two blankets, 1 an electric blanket. When temperatures outside reached 40 degrees, turned the electric blanket on to go to sleep & during the night. January 7, 2014, temperature outside was 13 degrees & wind blowing. Must admit, SURPRISE SURPRISE. Only one blanket, NO electric blanket. When temperature around 50 degrees later in the week, some nights just a sheet would do. Delaware Co-op advises to check the ducts for leaks & if approved tape to seal. Best leave it to The Pros. I left it to Joe & Carlos of Dr. Energy Saver, The Pro's, & they brought reduction in air leaks(loss of heat) down by 96%! Reduction of supply ducts down to 1 square inch & return ducts down to 3 square inches; from the size of a 36"x8' door.

Rose stated that they can feel a difference already and the job was completed only 3 days ago. She is very happy she got the work done now before the weather started getting really cold. 

We had our hvac vents and dryer vents cleaned. Technician John was very knowledgeable and professional. He explained the procedures and answered all our questions and concerns. He recommended a sanidry dehumidifier which he had 1 on the truck and installed the same day. He explained follow up maintenance needed. We were pleased with the service and recommend Lawson Home Services. Thank you.

We had Lawson Home Services come out and clean out our dryer vent. Isaiah did a great job, and told us everything he was going to do before he did it. He also went back to make sure he got everything out of the vent. We will definitely use Lawson for any other work we need to have done.

John was terrific. We are just considering options right now and timelines for projects, budgets, etc. John could not have been more professional and knowledgeable. Superb rep for your company.

All I can say is everybody from the office, to the workers that came to the house were polite, easy to talk too and really informative.

Kathleen, Thank you very much for the photos. It was an absolute pleasure dealing with Dr. Energy Saver from start to finish. Rarely these days do you get what you pay for, but in this case I truly feel that I received a true value for my investment.  Kevin got the ball rolling with the first rate energy evaluation of our entire home. This was followed by a very detail assessment of the evaluation. He never rushed or pushed during this discussion. He let the facts speak for themself.  Steve and the installation crew arrived a few weeks later to begin working in the attic and the crawl space. When I first met Steve I asked him if my crawl space would end up looking as good as the photo on his truck. He quickly replied, "it will look better." Well, Steve and his crew worled at our house for a full week and they delivered. Both the attic and crawl space finished much better than I had expected. Steve did not disappoint. The attic and crawl space finished better than the photos on the company truck.  During this entire process, the job site was visited by Kevin and the company's managers. The entire company took ownership of our project right from the start. Steve and his crew checked in every morning explaining the work to be done for that particular day. He routinely kept me informed as to his progress throughout the day. More importantly, Steve and the crew located a few areas of concern with my plumbing in the crawl space. By pointing our these concerns when he did, it gave me the opportunity to have the plumbing issues addressed, which ultimately saved me a significant amount of money.  Once again, I am a big fan of this company and their process.
