Hardin, KY homeowner, Jim and his wife were struggling to control mold and odor coming from their basement.  The basement seemed constantly wet and they never felt it ever got completely dry.  "Damon from Healthy Spaces came out for free and spent over 2 hours discussing issues and solutions with us", says Jim.

Damon and Jim decided the best solution for the home was to install a full-perimeter French drain in the basement.  Healthy Spaces has installed thousands of custom drainage systems just like this one in basements and crawlspaces across the area.  The systems are comprised of a rugged plastic drainage channel network called WaterGuard.  The Waterguard connects to a sump pump system that expels the water far from the basement to keep it dry.

It intercepts water at the perimeter of the basement and drains it to the TripleSafe Sump Pump System. The TripleSafe sump pump system keeps the basement dry with triple the protection. It comes equipped with 3 pumps and a battery backup in case the power goes out. Now Brian will have peace of mind that his daughter's basement is staying dry permanently. 

In Marion, KY, Healthy Spaces received a call from a homeowner concerned about their basement's state. Whenever it rained outside, water would leak into the basement. Recently, the basement drain was not working which caused the AC water to pool. The homeowner was interested in waterproofing their basement to fix the leaky culprit. 

Once you spot the problem, it's time to take action! The openings at the top of the drain will drain water from the walls. Next, the SuperSump pump is installed. The SaniDry XP can remove up to 109 liters of water per day, it has an ENERGY STAR® rating, and has ductwork compatible for drying finished spaces. Because these homeowners wanted to locate the SaniDry in one place and dry air in another, we needed to duct the air by including the SaniDry XP Ducting. 

Homeowner Sandy, from Sturgis KY, didn't use her basement for much. What she did use it for was the storage of miscellaneous and seasonal items. When she would go down there, she always thought it had a musty odor but didn't think of the things that could be growing in the warm and damp climate. Water would also sneak into her basement during storms and showers, occasionally leaving a puddle. Sandy finally decided to get professional help to see what could be done about these issues.

This piping system collects water at the perimeter of your basement and safely drains it into an unseen sump pump. 

Sandy's basement is now clean and dry so she can use the space for storage, recreational purposes, or to finish for additional living space.
