Tim and Calla were looking to purchase a new home in Orion, Illinois, but were unsure of the air quality in the home. Before purchasing the home, they had a self-Radon test done. Results came back slightly higher then recommended and began to worry. The sellers offered to have a Radon mitigation system installed by MidAmerica Basement Systems. The company had previously installed a waterproofing system and knew they could help with the Radon situation. Now the home has greatly reduced Radon levels, and the new homeowners can continue with their home buying.

Homeowners Tom and Lolly contacted MidAmerica Basement Systems when they were concerned about the levels of radon in their home.  Design Specialist  Cole Tatge designed a custom system for their home He explained the importance of having a radon-free home and all the benefits.

Al of Bettendorf, IA called MidAmerica Basement Systems because his radon levels were higher than the EPA's recommended safe level. After meeting with design specialist Clayton Spinler, Al had a radon mitigation system installed that keeps his home safe from the toxic gasses. 

Sue was having concerns about her untreated crawlspace and how much Radon that could be entering her home. After receiving her test results, she was horrified. MidAmerica Basement Systems proper addressed Sue’s crawlspace to decrease the Radon levels. Crewmen sealed off all cracks and vents in the crawlspace, and laid CleanSpace Drainage Matting and Liner in the area. The crawlspace had to be completely sealed off from the ground, so the Radon mitigation system could properly and effectively work. The mitigation system now pulls Radon out from under the sealed crawlspace, and disburses it back outside, leaving the home a safer place to breathe.
