This crawl space in Tipton, IA was suffering from high humidity and moisture, threatening both the home's comfort and integrity. We addressed the issues by installing our advanced crawl space encapsulation system: Drainage Matting and CleanSpace to prevent moisture build-up, the SaniDry Sedona to maintain optimal humidity and air quality, and SmartJacks to reinforce the stability of the structure. Now, as shown in the after photo, the crawl space is clean, dry, and secure, demonstrating our commitment to enhancing home environments with our 35+ years of expertise. 

Douglas and Natalie O. of Columbus Junction, IA contacted MidAmerica Basement Systems because their basement was damp at the floor and wall joints. After meeting with Mike Banks, they had a system installed to protect them from further water damage, including WaterGuard, CleanSpace and a TripleSafe Sump Pump. 

Melissa was having issue with high moisture levels in her basement. When she contacted MidAmerica Basement Systems in thought that she needed a waterproofing system, she was told otherwise. The large amounts of moisture were coming from her untreated crawlspace. The dirt ground was allowing for moisture to seep into her basement, leaving the area damp and musty smelling. It was offered that she have CleanSpace installed to permanently seal off the ground from the rest of the home. The thick liner has dramatically reduced the moisture levels in Melissa’s basement, putting her at ease.

Fran of Iowa City was having issues with moisture entering her crawlspace. She called MidAmerica Basement Systems to have her basement encapsulated. It was proposed that she had CleanSpace, SilverGlo , and SaniDry CX installed in her crawlspace to address the moisture issue. CleanSpace acts as a moisture barrier against the exposed ground, and seals off the moisture from entering the area. SilverGlo was installed to help insulate the crawlspace, while a SaniDry CX dehumidifier retracts any extra moisture in the air.
