In Waterloo, IA, a homeowner faced an uneven garage entrance that caused a vehicle spoiler issue due to a sudden, severe drop-off, a frustrating parking problem analyzed by System Design Specialist Shawn Conaway and expertly repaired by Foreman Justin Maddox and his crew member Devin S. To eliminate this hazard, our production team employed the PolyLevel® system, effectively stabilizing and raising the affected concrete slab back into alignment with the garage lip. By injecting high-strength polyurethane foam beneath the surface, as shown in the after photo, we filled the hidden voids and restored a perfectly level surface that functions flawlessly for low-clearance vehicles. Additionally, NexusPro® joint sealant was applied to tightly seal the joints against water damage and prevent future soil erosion, ensuring this robust solution met the homeowner's needs efficiently and permanently.
Nada was having issues with the stairs leading into her home, they had sunken and sloped, making it unlevel to enter. She had heard of the new injection technology from MidAmerica Basement System called PolyLevel. PolyLevel is similar to mud jacking, but offers many more advantages. The lightweight polyurethane material effortlessly lifts and levels concrete, using small injection holes. The quick dry time allow for a precise lift, leveling the stairs in minutes. Nada now has a level and stable stoop into her home.
Large cracks and gaps between concrete slabs allows for water to seep in between, causing the ground underneath to wash-out. Wash-outs than can lead to sinking and even more cracked concrete, leaving tripping hazards. Using a NexusPro Joint Sealant, cracks and gaps are permanently sealed, preventing water from seeping down the cracks. NexusPro Joint Sealant helps protect concrete, providing a longer lifespan for concrete and a safer area for walking.

To further protect the area, the cracks and joints were sealed with NexusPro® Joint Sealant, offering long-lasting protection against water infiltration. This reliable approach ensures durability and safeguards the property's structural integrity, exemplifying our dedication to excellence and customer satisfaction.
This successful project was designed by System Design Specialist Daniel Kelchen, and executed by Foreman Ricky and crew member Jaylen.
Rose reached out to MidAmerica Basement Systems after the driveway to the Senior Living home where she worked was having driveway and sidewalk issues. The driveway and sidewalks to the building were sinking and cracking and were becoming very dangerous to the residence and to the visitors. PolyLevel is a foam that is injected under your concrete slabs, it fills the void.
