At first glance, the moisture and mold issues in this Waterloo basement were clear signs of a failing system. To protect the home’s integrity, our team installed a comprehensive waterproofing solution featuring WaterGuard, the TripleSafe Sump Pump, and CleanSpace wall vapor barriers. The "after" photo shows the transformation: a once-compromised space is now a bright, dry, and permanently protected environment.
Roger and Bonnie have always had issues with a leaking basement, but let it be. They began to noticing mold growing and decided it was time to fix the issues. They contacted MidAmerica Basement Systems to have their basement waterproofed. Wes inspected all areas of the basement, making sure each area was properly addressed. After inspection, he suggested spraying MoldX over the affected area and then install WaterGuard and a TripleSafe. Installing the WaterGuard would prevent the pooling and puddling of water, which in return would help minimize the growth of mold. Once water collected in the WaterGuard, it was properly discharged out of the basement.
