Andrew and John did a great job installing this exterior radon mitigation system for our customer. They work from home now in their basement and levels were high so they wanted to make sure they were as safe as possible.

Improving Indoor Air Quality with a Crawl Space Radon Mitigation System This home required a two-point radon mitigation system designed to reach both the basement and crawl space areas. With about three feet of headroom, access was the main challenge, but the homeowner’s family cleared the space beforehand to make installation smoother. One extraction point will be cored through the basement slab, with a second added in the crawl space beneath the bedrooms to help reduce humidity. The homeowner also chose an Aspen Air Purifier to further improve indoor air quality, showing a strong commitment to creating a healthier home environment.

Ranch Home with 13 pCi/L Radon Levels Protected by Radon Mitigation The homeowners were looking for radon inspectors near the area. After a home tested at 13 pCi/L, the homeowner chose to install a radon mitigation system from Iowa Radon Defense Northwest to reduce radon levels and create a healthier indoor air. Because of the home's ranch layout and unfinished basement, a customized two-point sub-slab depressurization system was designed for maximum performance. The system was carefully installed and vented through the back of the home to effectively remove radon gas. With the mitigation system in place, the homeowner can enjoy greater peace of mind knowing the home is better protected from long-term radon exposure.

High Radon Test Results Lead Homeowners to Install Radon Mitigation System The homeowners first reached out after being advised to complete a radon test as part of protecting their home and family’s health. After testing revealed high radon levels, they wasted no time moving forward with a professional radon mitigation system installation. Knowing the long-term risks connected to radon exposure and poor indoor air quality, they decided it was the right step toward creating a safer and healthier living environment. With the new radon system in place, the home is now better protected against harmful radon gas and future health concerns.
