Before & After Photos

This before and after photo details shows an exterior radon fan installed on a home in St. Joseph Michigan. This includes our fan moisture guard (10-year warranty) along with a system muffler to dampen down air flow noise. 

ALS Radon & Environmental installed a radon gas mitigation system at a residential home in St Joseph, MI. A sub-slab radon depressurization system was used at this property. Two extraction points were installed as this home had a basement and a crawl space. Schedule 40 piping was run connecting the two areas to the side exterior. The radon fan was installed in a hidden area and vented safely above the roof line.

See the photos showing a radon system previously installed by another company then the after photo with our installation.  They used 2” pipe and poorly secured the piping causing it to fall apart.

This radon mitigation was a combination depressurization. We encapsulated the crawlspace and created negative pressure under the membrane as well as the basement slab.
