The soil under the slab was mostly clay. A GX4 radon away fan was installed to help with suction because of the tight clay soil. Schedule 40 piping was installed and vented safely above the roof line.

This is an example of a combination depressurization radon mitigation system. We encapsulated the crawlspace located off the basement and successfully created negative pressure under both the CleanSpace vapor barrier and basement slab. This before and after is documenting the vapor barrier with the extraction point extraction the radon gas from under the membrane.
