Preparing to transition to working from home full-time, a homeowner wanted to ensure her indoor environment was as safe and healthy as possible. After radon testing revealed elevated levels, she decided to move forward with mitigation before setting up her new workspace. A custom system was installed, carefully designed to suit the layout of her home and address the radon concerns efficiently. Crack sealing was completed to strengthen the system’s performance, and the installation was routed discreetly to preserve the home’s appearance. With her new radon mitigation system in place, she now has peace of mind knowing she’s working in a healthier environment, where she can focus on her career and well-being without the hidden risks of radon exposure.
This routing was no problem for Andrew and Jordan. They did a great job getting the install done the way the customer wanted it allowing them to feel more safe in their home!
This client's ranch home, with its finished basement and dirt crawlspace, harbored an invisible threat: radon levels of 13. The only unfinished area was a small HVAC room, with no sump pit, just a wastewater grinder. The client, already facing a lung mass, needed swift action. Plans were made to install a sub-slab extraction point by the water heater, routing into the crawlspace. The joists could have worked for venting, but the insulation, held by chicken wire mesh, complicated things. Instead, two cores would be drilled through the foundation walls. The client would clear out debris beforehand, and we’d encapsulate the space, setting a second extraction point to vent through the soffit. Everything worked out as planned.
Cole and Jordan installed this ERV for a customer to help lower their radon levels even more, giving them the best air quality possible.
The clients were former customers of thrasher and they really our quality of service and company standards. His home had really access to the vents and his HVAC system was kind of tight but other than that the cleaning went well.
