Dale, a 92-year-old former baseball coach at Dana College, is passionate about sports. Despite his hearing impairment, he lives alone in a ranch house with a semi-finished basement. Concerned about his family's future, he's testing for radon to ease their burden when he passes. With radon levels of 4.5 from a previous test, Dale also needs duct cleaning, as they haven't been serviced in years. Installation plans include a sub-slab extraction point in the storage room, routing through the soffit, and installing a fan cover. It's a proactive step to ensure his family's safety and ease their responsibilities in the future.
This installation should be relatively simple, only spot for extraction point is bedroom closet, try not to go through shelving if you can put it in the furthest corner of closet then out once above grade. The team tested for them and CRM was 4.4. They've renovated dorms into apartments and this was the only unit we tested. Andrew got approval from the State of NE to only run vertical 10' and put a 45 elbow on exhaust. They are also adding a radon fan cover. The team kept everything clean and the owner was happy!
Our lead technician duo John and Greg were able to install this radon mitigation system in the customer's ideal way.

When they discovered above the average or high levels, they contacted our service and installed a system that immediately improved the air quality and health of the family.
This is an unfinished home in Omaha, Nebraska and the owner wanted to finish his basement with a radon mitigation system installed in it. They looking to spend more as long as it keeps their radon levels low. The owner and his family spends most of their days at home so it was really worth the investment.
