Before our intervention in Sullivan, NH, this homeowner faced a failing cinderblock foundation wall bowing five inches inward, with prominent horizontal and stair-step cracks. These issues compromised structural integrity and threatened further damage. As shown in the images, we swiftly addressed this challenge. Using the GeoLock Wall Anchor System®, we effectively stabilized the wall. Our solution not only prevented future inward movement but also straightened the wall. A homeowner in New London, New Hampshire had concerns with his damp and musty bedroom. He noticed this issue ever since he moved into the home three years ago. Unable to continue living in these circumstances, he reached out to Erickson Foundation Solutions for a permanent fix. 

One of our Design Specialists, Josh Phillips, went to the house to conduct a free home inspection. While completing the inspection, Josh noticed that the existing encapsulation system in the crawl space was not keeping moisture out as it was intended. This was the source of why the homeowner's bedroom was damp and musty. Mold, wood rot, and other negative effects also resulted because of it. The wood rot has caused cracks in the wall and doors to not shut properly. Josh recommended installing our SuperSump sump pump, CleanSpace vapor barrier, and SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. The SuperSump sits in a basin in the crawl space and pumps out water that is surrounding the outside of the foundation. The CleanSpace vapor barrier properly encapsulates the crawl space to keep out moisture, which protects against mold, wood rot, and pests. The SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier further helps prevent against moisture, creating a dry space and delivering better air quality to the entire home.

A homeowner is selling their home in the near future and wants to make sure the selling process goes smoothly. Structural issues were a big concern. Looking to strengthen the foundation, this homeowner reached out to Erickson Foundation Solutions.

Design Specialist, Mark Proctor, noticed severe foundation problems upon giving a free home inspection. Cobblestone walls had settled, resulting in brick walls bowing outward and even partially collapsing. With such drastic basement damage, Mark recommended reconstructing the foundation walls and pouring a new concrete slab. Our installation crew demoed the entire front wall section, carefully disassembling the corner that was held together by only foam. Reconstructing the foundation was a challenge with rain hitting the exposed cobblestone, but with the crew's care and attention to detail, they were able to overcome it.

With a new foundation, the home is now properly supported. This homeowner now has peace of mind during the home selling process, and while he continues to live in the home.
