A homeowner in Middleton, New Hampshire, had purchased their lakeside home just over two years ago. When they purchased the home they noticed the floors in the home seemed to be out of level. They called EFS to have us inspect the crawlspace to look at the supports and the floor system. We recommended replacing the existing cinder block supports with 12 SmartJacks and Supplemental beams to stabilize and level the floors. 

A homeowner in North Andover, MA has been experiencing flooding in their crawl space. This flooding has caused a good amount of damage, as well as mold and odors. SmartJacks offer more support by inserting a galvanized steel plate into the foundation. This steel plate sits on a sturdy base of crushed stone. The galvanized steel post is then attached to the plate, and also connects to a supplemental beam. Once installed, they are cemented in place.

The SmartJacks not only prevented the floor from sinking further, but they also raised and leveled the floor as well. This homeowner was thrilled that the sagging and uneven floors had been fixed, and that the structure of her home is now properly supported!
