This new homeowner recently inherited the family home that she grew up in. When she purchased the home from her dad, he told her that the floors are sagging on the main level. She likes to entertain people so she sometimes has many people in her home. To make sure that the home can withstand the added weight, she decided she wanted someone to come to look at the home. She researched companies that repaired sagging floors and decided to call EFS for a free inspection.
Crew Lead Scott Crandall and his team installed 4 SmartJacks under one of the main beams in the basement. The team was able to reduce the sag in the floor and add the extra support that the homeowner needs to entertain her friends and family.

Approximately five years ago, a homeowner in Laconia, New Hampshire observed that the kitchen cabinets were detaching from the wall. As time progressed, the situation deteriorated, with increasing gaps and cracks appearing in the drywall. Concerned about her home's structural integrity, she contacted Erickson Foundation Solutions for assistance.
Our Design Specialist, Jason Vachon, recommended the installation of our GeoLock wall anchor system alongside an auxiliary foundation wall to address the deteriorating foundation. This method aims to secure the inward-bowing fieldstone and brick wall, while also preventing further deterioration. The GeoLock anchors were placed by extending rods through the foundation wall into an area with stable soil. After attaching the anchors to these rods, steel plates were secured to the inside of the foundation wall and subsequently tightened to fortify the wall against additional inward movement.
The crew began constructing the auxiliary wall by installing SmartBraces along the interior foundation wall for additional stabilization. These SmartBraces were then encased within a cement wall, forming the auxiliary wall that provides substantial strength and support to both the foundation and the home.
With the implementation of this solution, the homeowner can rest assured that the structural integrity of her forever home is permanently secured.

This homeowner in Littleton, Massachusetts was experiencing water entering their basement. The homeowners have discovered a hole in their foundation that is 2" wide by 5" high and are looking for a solution. They decided to call EFS for a free inspection.
Design Specialist Stephen Caron inspected the basement and the cracks in the foundation. Stephen came up with a solution and recommended installing Geolocks, Water Guard, NexusPro, and a Sani Dry into the basement. The reason that Stephen felt it was necessary to have Geolocks installed was that on the outside of the home the foundation walls are cracking due to hydrostatic pressure.
Crew Lead Chris Tremblay and his team arrived at the home and installed Geolocks, Water Guard, NexusPro, and a Sani Dry into the basement.
