This homeowner in Auburn, New Hampshire has noticed that their foundation wall is leaning. They decided to call Erickson Foundation Solutions for a free inspection. 

A Design Specialist arrived at the home and inspected the foundation wall to assess the severity of the foundation issue. The Design Specialist came up with a solution that would stop the foundation from leaning. The solution that was proposed to the homeowner was to build a retaining wall against the foundation wall. 

Nick Carelli and his team arrived at the home and installed the new retaining wall that attaches to the existing leaning foundation wall. The retaining wall extends the length of the leaning foundation wall to stabilize the wall.

The Geolocks were installed but the team recommended PolyLevel as well but the homeowners opted away from the PolyLevel. This foundation wall on a home in Auburn, NH had a large crack near the inside corner. Over the years, pressure from the soils on the exterior pushed against the wall, eventually cracking it and causing it to lean visibly inwards towards the basement. Our team designed and installed a wall stabilization solution using PowerBrace brackets. These steel, wall stabilization supports are a permanent solution that will prevent the bowing wall from leaning in any further. They are anchored to the concrete floor below, as well as to the floor beams and joists above. Rather than waiting for the problem to get worse, these homeowners took action and now have peace of mind that their foundation wall is not going to bow or collapse. 

This homeowner in Concord, Massachusetts had some concerns with the back wall of their garage as it was cracked and bowing out. They called Erickson to find a permanent fix to these issues. Design specialist John Prince proposed Geolock wall anchors to stabilize the wall. Crew lead Josh Provost and his team installed the Geolocks and the wall is no longer at risk of bowing or failing. There are also cover plates over the Geolocks to be a bit more appealing to the eye on the outside of the house in that location.
