Radon, a gas that seeps into homes from the soil beneath the foundation, was a significant concern, especially with a finished basement and young children in the household. To ensure their family’s safety and enjoy their basement with peace of mind, they contacted Erickson Foundation Solutions. The radon mitigation system installation involved drilling an extraction point in the basement floor, inserting a vent pipe, and connecting a fan to draw radon gas out from beneath the home. Radon is then removed above the roofline to ensure it is released far away from entry points of the home.
