This homeowner in Marblehead, Massachusetts recently tested their basement for radon. The test results returned at 6 pCi/L, which is slightly high. The homeowner decided to call EFS to have a radon mitigation system installed. 

A design specialist inspected the home to find the best spot to install the radon mitigation system into the finished basement. The design specialist recommended one radon fan with one extraction point. 

 

Radon Mitigation System, Beverly, MA

Michael T. of Beverly, Massachusetts had a neighbor that recently got tested for radon. The radon in the neighbors home was high so the neighbor urged Michael to test his home as well. Michael called Erickson Foundation Solutions to see about a free inspection.

Design Specialist Kenny Calabrese came to the home and inspected and left a radon test kit to test the levels of radon in the basement. Kenny came back and got the results from the radon test and found that the levels are around 45 pCi/L. Kenny Designed a custom radon system for the home.

They have recently uncovered a medical issue with their lungs and have become worried about the radon levels in their home. They think radon had something to deal with the health problem, so they reached out to EFS for a radon test and inspection. Our team performed a radon test, and the results came back with an average of around 14.5 pCi/L which was high. Next, our Design Specialist created a system that would mitigate as much radon as possible to get their levels down to below 4.0 pCi/L. Our team installed a single extraction point radon system and lowered the radon levels in the home to below 4.0 pCi/L.
