Water Entering Basement Causing it to Smell, Hollis, NH

This homeowner in Hollis, New Hampshire had purchased their 1830s home a couple of months ago. During the home inspection, they noticed an odor in the basement. More recently they found out that the odor in the basement is because of water entering the basement. They decided to call EFS for a free inspection. 

Design Specialist Michael LaMalfa inspected the home.

Crew Lead Nick Carelli and his team arrived at the home and installed an Auxilary wall, 109 ft of Water Guard, 2 Super Sumps, and a Sani Dry into the basement.

The basement was used for kitchen storage and the homeowner had seen as much as 4" of water in their basement at one time. Our design specialist recommended installing a perimeter drainage system in the basement of the home.

The homeowners have dealt with this issue for a while and were tired of cleaning up the mess so they reached out to EFS for a free inspection of their basement. Our Design Specialist met with the homeowners and inspected the basement to find a solution to the water penetration. Our Design Specialist recommended installing a full-perimeter drianage system around the basement to prevent further penetration. 

Enhanced Basement Waterproofing in Hollis, NH

Notice in the before photo, the homeowner's finished basement in Hollis, NH faced damage due to a seeping foundation wall and a high water table, even with a previously installed TripleSafe Sump Pump. We addressed these issues by removing the compromised drywall. Our team further enhanced the waterproofing system with WaterGuard, integrating it seamlessly with the existing sump pump, while CleanSpace liner was applied to encapsulate and protect the leaking wall. Additionally, we installed IceGuard to prevent freezing in the discharge line. The basement is now dry and secure as evident in the after photo.

Water Pooling in Basement After Heavy Rain, Goffstown, NH

This homeowner in Goffstown, New Hampshire had experienced water pooling in their basement after heavy rain. The homeowner would like to waterproof the walls and eliminate the pooling water in the basement. The homeowner decided to call EFS for a free inspection.

Design Specialist Jason Vachon inspected the basement. He confirmed that the water is coming through the walls. Jason recommended installing CleanSpace, Water Guard, Freeze Guard, and a Super Sump.
