Homeowners in Merrimack, New Hampshire just refinished their basement and are once again experiencing leaks. With water damage being a huge concern, they wanted to install a waterproofing system that would permanently keep the basement dry.
Our Design Specialist, Victor Tapia, recommended installing WaterGuard perimeter drainage, UltraSump sump pump, and EverLast wall restoration. WaterGuard is installed around the perimeter of the basement to capture water and deliver it to the sump pump. In order to access the foundation, our installation crew needed to remove the lower half of the finished basement wall. After installing the sump pump and connecting it to the WaterGuard system, everything was set in crushed stone and cemented in place. An exterior discharge line was added to the sump pump to dispose water safely out of the home. With the waterproofing system in place, our crew then installed the EverLast wall. This wall is water and mold resistant, all while offering a nice, finished look.
The systems put in place allow the homeowners peace of mind that their finished basement is protected. They loved the final result!
A homeowner in Merrimack, New Hampshire is selling her home and wants to maintain property value. The already existing sump pump in the basement has failed to keep up with water that leaks through the foundation during heavy rains. Due to negative experiences with previous companies, this homeowner valued quality and trust when choosing a company for this project. We were dedicated to providing a permanent solution for her wet basement.
Our Design Specialist, Peter Carstean, recommended installing our SuperSump sump pump to waterproof the basement. While being capable of pumping 2,220 gallons of water per hour, it is engineered to help keep the basement dry and healthy for extended periods of time, even in times of heavy water intrusion. Our crew chipped out concrete and dug 24 inches deep to create the sump basin, installed the pump, and plumbed the discharge line from the sump pump to the backyard. It was then concreted in place.
With the previous sump pump being exposed, moisture was prone to causing mold within the basement. Our TripleSafe sump liner prevents this from occurring, while also keeping odors out and protecting your sump from debris on the basement floor.
With the new waterproofing system installed, the home selling process has become much easier. The homeowner now has peace of mind that the basement will stay dry.

A homeowner in Hudson, Massachusetts had water seeping through their basement slab. Their current sump pump system was not removing water from the home, leaving water under the finished floorboards. With concern that the leaking would get worse, she reached out to Erickson Foundation Solutions in order to protect her investment.
After discussion with the homeowner, our Design Specialist, Mark Proctor, recommended installing two TripleSafe sump pump systems. One system was installed to replace the broken sump pump, and another was installed in a different location to ensure water is captured throughout the basement. This sump pump is guaranteed to pump water out of the home at all times due to our three-pump system. The first pump removes normal water levels throughout the home. A second pump is activated during events such as heavy rains or snow melting, making sure that the sump basin never overflows. A third battery-powered backup pump functions in emergency situations such as a power outage.
Once installed, these systems were cemented in place for a clean finish. The homeowner now has peace of mind that her finished basement will remain dry!
Our team was called out to a home in Stow, Massachusetts to find a solution to a burnt-out SaniDry plug. The homeowner called EFS to book a service call with one of our Service Technicians. Our Service Tech Justin came out to the home and proceeded to address the plug on the SaniDry.
Justin found the plug of the SaniDry was plugged into a surge-protected power strip which must have shorted because it was charred when Justin showed up. Justin brought an extra power cord that works with the SaniDry and rerouted the power to a different outlet because the old plug needed to be repaired.
