To address their dual challenges, we initiated the project by carefully excavating and preparing the area for our advanced FlowGuard waterproofing system. Clearing debris and jackhammering around the perimeter enabled seamless installation. We then strategically relieved pressure from their block foundation by expertly drilling weepholes, facilitating efficient water diversion to our system.

Our comprehensive solution included the installation of our patented sump pump and a CleanSpace vapor barrier, ensuring effective water management and redirection away from the home. Additionally, we bolstered the structural integrity of their property by installing four SmartJack foundation support systems before applying concrete.

These homeowners contacted Basement Systems Of New York to see how we could help rid their homes of water. Over the last twenty-two years, the homeowners never had a water issue, that is until hurricane Ida. Since Ida, they have constantly had water coming in through their concrete foundation. After trying to fix the problem themselves water continued to penetrate their home and they knew that they needed professional help.

Originally, they thought that water was coming in from their bedroom. Because of the issues, they described to our Specialist during their consultation, he could pinpoint where water was penetrating the home from. Specifically, the area where they were having an issue with water penetrating their home was in their garage. In turn, this was keeping their home wet.

By installing these systems, we are able to capture any water that comes into their home and divert it to our out of and away from their home. Basement Systems of New York came to the rescue of this two-year-old home. Due to poor compaction during backfilling of the concrete porch with bluestone the cap was already sinking 1 1/2". We were able to remedy this eyesore and hazard for the homeowner with the help of PolyLevel. We were able to remove the eyesore and hazard around their home by injecting the concrete with PolyLevel and we were able to bring it back to a perfect level
