This DIY sump pump couldnt keep up with the water in the crawlspace. The dirt floor was constantly wet and water was seeping through the porous concrete walls. To make this space healthy we installed a TripleSafe sump pump, a CleanSpace vapor barrier, and spray foam where needed. 

This homes large crawlspace was being used for storage items. However the items were ending up a bit damp as the 6 Mil vapor barrier was getting pushed around when heavy rains hit, and the humidity levels in this space were high. To address these concerns, they called up John's Waterproofing and received their free inspection and estimate for a full encapsulation. They were excited for the accompanying benefits of encapsulation and moved forward! 

This homes crawl space was muddy, and the the space smelled damp. The old fiberglass was drooping, and there was a thick layer of mud that covered the old vapor barrier. To set the space up to become healthy we did an encapsulation and air sealed the space.

It is a 20 mils thick vapor barrier that is rip-resistant and discourages mold growth. In this photo, you can also see that our vapor barrier is installed going under the post to make sure that moisture from the ground doesn't reach the wood post causing rotting.
