The customer suspected mold in their kitchen after encountering some spots and a strange, lingering odor. We suggested a Certified Mold Inspector come in to determine the details. After the Certified Inspector finished their protocol, it was evident that mold had grown in the kitchen, living area, and bathroom, both beneath the floors and in the walls.
We began by creating a containment area and quarantining it off. Next, we identified the areas and surfaces that were affected by mold and began cleaning or removing them. We had to remove cabinets, furniture, drywall, and flooring because it had been damaged or contaminated beyond repair. After all impacted items and surfaces were removed and cleaned, we began to treat the area. Negative air fans were set up to pull mold spores out and dry the rooms. Next we wiped the room down with an antimicrobial, and afterward, the rooms were tested again to be certain there was no longer an issue with Mold.
Application of antimicrobial solution to remove mold, followed by an odor neutralizer.
