View the significant transformation in radon reduction through our before and after visuals of a radon mitigation project in a Woodbury home. Starting with a radon level of 6.8 in an unfinished 1989-built basement, we installed a one-pipe system running along a strategic route to minimize interference and maximize efficiency. The after photos demonstrate the seamless integration of the system within the existing structure, highlighting our commitment to safety and structural aesthetics.
The slab home had radon levels consistently above 4.0 pCi/L, with the highest readings occurring near the bedroom side of the house.
An exterior radon mitigation system was installed with horizontal piping routed into the slab area to improve airflow and reduce radon levels near the bedroom section of the home.

Dust, debris, and buildup were present inside the floor register boot, creating a collection point for contaminants entering the HVAC system.
After:
The register boot was cleaned and vacuumed, removing accumulated debris and improving the cleanliness of the air distribution system at the point of delivery.

The interior surfaces of the ductwork showed visible dust accumulation and contamination from years of normal system operation.

The ductwork was professionally cleaned, leaving the interior surfaces substantially cleaner and helping reduce airborne dust and allergens throughout the home.
