Discover the before and after transformation of radon safety measures in a Prospect home with a radon level of 23.7. Our team designed and installed a four-pipe radon mitigation system, carefully integrating it into the home’s structure. The before photos show the initial setup, while the after images reveal the neatly run white PVC pipes externally, enhancing both the effectiveness and aesthetics of the home’s exterior. This project showcases our ability to handle high radon levels with complex solutions.
Before: Radon levels at 14.0 pCi/L, unsealed cracks, and a crawl space contributing to air quality concerns.
After: Three extraction points installed, every visible crack professionally sealed, and full coordination with CT Basement Systems for WaterGuard sealing. A collaborative, comprehensive fix for radon safety.
The exterior of the home had no radon mitigation system in place, with no visible piping along the siding.
A radon mitigation pipe was installed along the exterior of the home and vented above the roofline to allow proper airflow.
The basement area had no radon mitigation system in place, with existing mechanical equipment and no piping installed.
A radon mitigation pipe was installed in the basement, routed through the space to connect to the exterior system.
