Radon Mitigation - Northwood, IA

When is Radon Mitigation Necessary?

Our client had this booked ahead of time but he was rushed to the hospital under critical condition. On these circumstances, the team tries their best to make sure everything is convenient to the client and won't add stress to the situation.

The client called us when he got home and wanted to get something going. He wants the system to be exiting the house out of the small electrical closet in the corner. Either that or pulling from the sump due to tiling lines. He specifically requested a Breathe EZ for layered health. As a heads up, the client really liked the sound of the Sedona but wasn't ready to pull the trigger do to total project cost. He will definitely contact us back once he is ready!

Radon Mitigation - Ottumwa, IA

This was a simple installation as the homeowner's wife was really concerned about the high radon exposure during the winter season. She called up Iowa Radon Defense and asked for a quote. They were happy with the pricing and discussed the drafted plan with them. Everything was virtual as they knew their home very well and provided all the photos needed for the team to reference to. They will be on vacation during Thanksgiving, so they wanted this to be done before that starts. The wife was happy about the team cleaning up before leaving as she thought she would be doing it. Everything went well!

Radon Mitigation - Gladbrook, IA

This client was very detailed how he would like the radon to be exiting his home - he wants to it near the generator to not have to look at anything. It would be a 4 point system as discussed and we did make a promise we would deliver. It's a pretty odd layout but Rusty the team lead made it work! We did educate the client he needs a higher suction fan to make sure we have enough pull for the system. The client agreed and was given briefing before the installation started. He was happy how it turned out!

Radon Mitigation - Toledo, IA

This is a single point system running out of the sump and through the soffit. The project is dedicated for the church, and it was talked about as they wanted all people who serve would be protected from the harmful exposure of radon. It is believed that since it's always a closed mass and the vicinity or structure is old, the radon mitigation system is a necessity.

Radon Mitigation - Saint Ansgar, IA

Originally anticipated this home as a quick radon project, but discovered two sizable, well-maintained crawl spaces during the walkthrough. Really rare but amazing home! Homeowner was committed to clearing these spaces for better work conditions. The project involves extracting through the sump in the basement, connected to the son's bedroom and a utility room. The route goes from downstairs through the rim joists in the garage and out through the roof. A T connection will link the encapsulation points, ensuring a straightforward installation.
