This was a simple project as there was a prepared space for the radon mitigation system to go into. The team installed an eagle fan with two (2) sub slab extraction points. Everything went well!
Customer called in and said their radon levels tested at 13.0 and not 34.0 like they thought. What the team did is to remove 1 of the pts from the job. The homeowner was really nice and liked to talk a lot. He used to be an electrician and now works at Mutual of Omaha along with his wife. They also own a couple of businesses. The team has already serviced this home about a year and a half ago. They were happy about the lowering of their levels.
The client called in and asked about the effects of radon if he only did a home test first. The team was kind to explain to the customer everything they need to know regarding the advantages of having a radon mitigation system installed. They immediately booked their first and was very proud of their decision.
This client had a radon test and returned high levels. So he made sure this should be mitigation and got a radon system installed. He did mention to consistently test and see the difference. Everything went well!
This homeowner never imagined that his home had high levels of radon lurking beneath its foundation. He got a test and did it twice. A chance conversation with a neighbor who was a previous client of Radon Defense Midwest leads him to install a radon mitigation system just in time, potentially saving his family from unseen harm.
