Extremely happy with the work that was done. Andrew and Jordan were very friendly and answered all questions and explained everything along the way
To mitigate radon gas from all entry points in a home, we have to take sumps into consideration. In this home, we installed a two extraction point radon mitigation system and added a new sump pit pump with a discharge line and a cover. We dug the sump pit lower so we could properly install the sump pump, put in a new discharge and seal the pit.
Andrew and John did a great job installing this exterior radon mitigation system for our customer. They work from home now in their basement and levels were high so they wanted to make sure they were as safe as possible.
This home had an alarming radon level of 40-70 pCi/L in the basement. The customer was very concerned and to help in every step of the way. He insisted to create a larger opening for us to encapsulate the crawlspace. It was plenty deep. We had made a total of 5 extraction points with 2 fans installed. The homeowner wanted to make sure every part of the installation was smooth and was really happy that the team cleaned up after the work is done.
A first-time homeowner learned about radon through the trends of the internet and chose mitigation for peace of mind. He did share with us that this research helped him know more about the dangerous gas. Today, his whole family enjoys their home without worrying about hidden dangers.
