A homeowner in Nashua, New Hampshire, had lived in their home since 2007. Recently the homeowners have noticed an odor coming from the crawlspace. They called EFS for a free inspection and our Design Specialist recommended installing CleanSpace encapsulation into the crawlspace to prevent moisture from entering the space and causing an odor. We installed 811 sqft of CleanSpace onto the walls and floors of the crawlspace.
A homeowner in Nashua, New Hampshire was sick of using the shop vacuum to clean up her wet basement. She wanted to look for a permanent solution that would keep her basement dry and reduce humidity.
Our team recommended installing a TripleSafe sump pump system, WaterGuard perimeter drainage, and CleanSpace vapor barrier. This waterproofing system is designed to keep water out of the basement by capturing it along the border of the foundation before entering the home, and then filtering it to the sump pump. The sump pump system removes water out of the home through an exterior discharge line. In the photo, CleanSpace is pictured. CleanSpace is a wall encapsulation system that reduces moisture in the home. This system eliminates humidity, adds insulation to the home, prevents wood rot and pests, and can even keep floors warm.
With these systems in place, a temperate and dry living space is created. Whether the homeowner decides to use the space for storage or build a fully finished basement, she has peace of mind that the basement is safe from water.
In Manchester, NH, a homeowner faced issues with a wet crawl space, which led to the rim joist insulation starting to fall. As shown in the initial photo, moisture was a clear issue, emphasizing the need for a reliable solution. We resolved these challenges using our CleanSpace system, including Drainage Matting and TerraBlock. The after photo highlights a transformed, dry, and insulated space. With the water redirected efficiently and vapor barriers installed, the crawl space is now a stable foundation, demonstrating our commitment to providing exceptional service and tangible results.
A homeowner in Manchester, New Hampshire, had purchased their home in 2021 and noticed this past year that cold drafts and moisture would enter their home. The home built in 1945 has a basement and a crawlspace below the main level of their home. The homeowner felt the cold air coming from the crawlspace. They decided to call EFS for a free inspection and our Design Specialist recommended installing CleanSpace and a SaniDry Sedona into the Crawlspace to encapsulate it and control the humidity.
The team fully encapsulated the dirt crawlspace with CleanSpace to prevent any unwanted drafts and moisture from seeping in. After the CleanSpace was installed the team then installed a SaniDry Sedona in between the crawlspace and the basement.
