In Melrose, MA, a homeowner faced recurring issues with a frozen pipe in their crawl space, posing a risk of structural damage. The owner decided to call EFS for a free inspection of their crawlspace. Our Design Specialist Tom inspected the crawlspace and recommended using CleanSpace to encapsulate it and prevent moisture from building up. Our team arrived at the building and installed 1200 sqft of CleanSpace into the crawlspace. 

This 3-season porch area had a crawlspace beneath it. The crawlspace was full of moisture and extremely damp, causing mold to form and leading to rot damage to the floor joists. Our EFS team replaced some damaged joists, supported the new floor system with SmartJacks, and encapsulated the crawlspace with CleanSpace to protect the home against further rot or mold.
