Concrete Walkway Leveling in Concord, MA

A homeowner in Concord, Massachusetts experienced a cracking and sinking concrete walkway. The sinkage caused massive puddling on the way to the front door. Looking to eliminate this issue and establish a cleaner look, she reached out to Erickson Foundation Solutions.

Our Design Specialist, Mark Proctor, recommended installing PolyLevel and NexusPro to lift, level, and stabilize the concrete. PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam that was injected underneath the sinking concrete slab. This fills voids, which stabilizes the concrete. After achieving the lift, our installation crew leveled the concrete. NexusPro was then installed to seal joints and cracks. This helps prevent further settling and cracking in the future, while also proving an attractive finish.

With the concrete repaired, the puddling and trip hazards are eliminated. The homeowner now has a safe and inviting walkway.

Concrete Leveling in Warwick, RI

A homeowner in Warwick, Rhode Island, was worried about his son's safety due to tripping hazards near the pool. The soil had settled over time, causing the concrete to sink and tilt, leading to protruding edges. To address this, he contacted Erickson Foundation Solutions for concrete lifting and leveling.

Our Design Specialist, Jim Meglio, recommended the use of PolyLevel and NexusPro for lifting, leveling, and stabilizing the concrete. PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam, was injected beneath hazardous areas to fill the voids under the concrete. The installation team employed slab jacks to raise the concrete to the desired level. PolyLevel quickly hardens after installation, creating a permanently stable foundation. Once the pool deck's concrete was set, NexusPro was used to seal cracks and joints, offering additional protection against movement and cracking, as well as enhancing the appearance.

Upon completion of the work, our team cleaned the workspace and conducted a final inspection with the homeowner. Following the presentation of the work and addressing any remaining questions, the homeowner was delighted!
