Bob and Ruth, we're sick and tired of their Sherburne home crawl space problem. The floor below their kitchen had sagged for years and it seemed to be getting worse.

The other big problem was a musty smell especially strong in the springtime. Not only could you smell the must upstairs but when in the basement the smell was even stronger.

The EverBrace Wall Restoration System permanently stabilizes the most extreme cases of failing foundation walls. With EverBrace, steel corrugated panels and beams work together to strengthen and stabilize foundation walls. Rigid foam is then injected to fill any voids behind the steel panels, fully transferring the load from the failing structure to the new support panels. Overall, EverBrace provides a less disruptive alternative to total foundation replacement, giving homeowners a proven solution for foundation issues.

Recently, she has become increasingly concerned over the structural integrity of her home as the metal support beams in her garage are significantly rusted. As her bedroom is located above the garage and consequently held up by the beams, Cindy wanted to resolve the issue as quickly as possible and decided to contact Woodford Bros. for a free estimate for the necessary repairs. After an initial inspection, our Design Specialist determined that the SmartJack system would be best suited to help repair the damaged beams.

The SmartJack system provides solid support for sagging and undersized beams, restoring stability and straightness to sagging floor joists in a crawl space. Once installed, SmartJack support posts can correct problems such as sloping and overly springy floors, interior wall cracks, and out-of-level door frames. SmartJacks can support loads of more than 60,000 lbs and are made of galvanized steel for corrosion resistance. With the SmartJack system in place, Cindy can have the peace of mind that her home is permanently stabilized.

The coldest room in this 1880's built home had sloping floors. By insulating the walls and encapsulating the crawlspace, the outside air is now blocked from coming in. Using our SmartJack system we stabilized the floors. The SmartJack system is made up of glavanized steel beams and jacks. The jacks are capable of supporting up to 50,000 pounds each and are strong enough to be used to adjust and lift the floors back up.
