Before
On the outside the home looks solid and in very good repair. Upon further inspection, the basement shows signs of shearing in the middle of the walls which indicates bowing in the structure. The walls at this stage have not shifted at the top or bottom but could eventually weaken and become a structural issue.
After
A combination of Power Braces and Carbon Armor have been used to brace the walls which will prevent any further bowing. This will allow the homeowner to begin finishing the basement knowing the walls are solid!
Give Advanced Basement Systems a call if you suspect your basement walls need help.
Problem: The wall is not settling but it is pushing out towards the fence.

This home in Woodstock, ON had basement seepage and slight bow (buckle or lean) in the block foundation wall. We can use our Carbon Armor Systems to stop the wall from moving any further. The silver vapour barrier is part of the waterproofing system and is not necessary in order to structurally stabilize the wall.
We also installed a new TripleSafe Sump Pump System, replacing the old and unreliable sump.
Problem: Unlevel concrete poses several problems for homeowners:
Solution: We raised and levelled the sunken concrete slabs with PolyLevel.
