This crawlspace got a clean out and a new vapor barrier laid down.
This customer called about getting an inspection done on their crawlspace. Water and mud were found all over their vapor barrier thru out the crawlspace. Our inspector recommended the CleanSpace Encapsulation System to ensure they wouldn't have any more water or moisture coming in.
Customer is a realtor looking to sell house at top notch condition
This home had a stirp of crawl space next to their finished basement. They had the basement waterproofed and finished a few years back but had opted out of tackling the crawl space. However, this space was getting some standing water in the lower points and the adjoining wall was much colder, leading the homeowners to wonder how much more they were spending trying to keep the basement a comfortable temperature. The decided to have John's come out and encapsulate it.
This homeowner bought their home with a sump pump system already installed. After years of not worrying about their crawl space, they began noticing a strange smell and decided to inspect it. Unfortunately, they found that their original sump pump wasn't working properly and was overfilling with water into the crawl space. Needing the issue fixed, the homeowner reached out to John's Waterproofing about their options. We informed them that upgrading to the TripleSafe sump pump would be the best long-term solution to keeping their home dry and healthy. The TripleSafe is a three-pump system that is capable of controlling hundreds of gallons of water at a time. It collects any water that tries to seep through and safely pushes it out and away from the homes foundation. This sump pump even has a backup battery-operated pump that will keep the crawl space dry even in the case of a power outage. Overall, making the upgrade to the TripleSafe sump pump was the best solution so now the homeowner can rest knowing their crawl space will stay dry.
