This home had water pooling over the old 6 Mil vapor barrier. The space smelled damp and musty, pointing to water. To address these before they worsened, they called up John's Waterproofing. To ensure the space would be protected against water issues, and they wouldn't need to worry about it, they wanted to get a full encapsulation.

Customer is a contractor that is building a home, and their client wanted the space encapsulated.
This crawlspace had water, dirt, and falling insulation which was causing musty smells in the home. The homeowner called for a free inspection and was recommended to get a crawlspace encapsulation. Our crews installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier that seals the crawlspace and makes it a conditioned space. Along with the help of our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier that filters out moisture, mold, dust mites, and other allergens. The homeowner noticed the musty smell was gone right away and was excited to not have to deal with a wet and puddled crawlspace anymore.
Our customer here in Silverton, Oregon who realized that there was an actual spring running underneath her home and shop. So much to the point where it was starting to push the floor. After her inspection, we sent Lupe and his crew out to get started on the work needed. After some necessary repairs, they fully encapsulated the crawl space, redirected the water away from her home, and replaced the insulation. As you can see in the pictures listed, encapsulating your crawl space makes a huge difference and our customer no longer worries about water damage.
