This family just recently bought this home and were wanting to get everything fixed up to their liking. They had a plumbing leak that caused mold in the crawl space, and possibly inside the home. They wanted that to be checked. They noticed that they had humidity inside the home and inquired if a crawl space encapsulation would control that issue.

Olympic Restoration Systems was contacted for an assessment for their home. We had a specialist visit the property and they proposed a quote to the customer. They proceeded with a crawl space encapsulation for their home from Olympic Restoration Systems.

This customer called after a pipe burst in the wall between the master bedroom and laundry room, causing water to flood into her laundry room. She was concerned that there was mold growth behind her washer and dryer. After she had a mold inspector come to her home, confirm mold growth, and give her a mold protocol, she scheduled a free mold removal estimate with Olympic Restoration Systems. We sent our first available System Designs Specialist, Ross, to complete the free mold remediation quote. Ross presented a proposal to the homeowner, using the mold protocol from the mold inspector, and the homeowner accepted.

The production team started by setting up containment and HEPA vacuums around the molded area to keep the mold from spreading during removal. Then, the team carefully removed the molded drywall and carpet, working around the pipes that lead to the washer and dryer. The finished by wiping down the entire area with an EPA registered antimicrobial solution.

This family was experiencing heavy humidity and extreme moisture issues in their crawl space. They weren’t sure what they should do in order to control what was happening in their home. They installed multiple fans in their crawl space to try and control the heavy humidity and extreme moisture issues. They monitored their crawl space while the fans were down in the crawl space running. After some time, there was not any noticeable improvement, regarding the moisture and humidity, not to mention the noise issues and the vibrations, that they now had, due to all the fans constantly running under their home.  They did some research and were interested in finding out more information regarding a crawl space encapsulation. After assessing the water damage, Darrin presented the homeowner with a free water cleanup quote, and the homeowner accepted.
