The owner of this multi-family living facility called Olympic Restoration Systems after a pipe burst in the attic, causing significant water damage throughout the facility. We sent one of our System Designs Specialists, Ross, to the facility for a free water damage cleanup estimate. After assessing the water damage, Ross proposed the owner a free water restoration quote. The owner accepted and we sent our first available production crew to complete the task.
Our production team setup containment around the facility, then carefully removed all water damaged drywall, ceiling, flooring, and cabinets. They did this while running air movers and air scrubbers to continue to dry out the facility.
This homeowner called after she received a confirmed mold test from a licensed mold testing company for an area behind her kitchen sink. We have multiple licensed mold remediators within Olympic Restoration Systems, and we sent our first available, Ross, to the home for a free mold removal estimate. Once Ross assessed the property and received the mold protocol from the licensed mold tester, Ross presented a free mold remediation quote to the homeowner. The homeowner accepted, and we sent our production team to the property to begin the mold remediation process.
Our production team completed the mold remediation, which included setting up containment, placing air scrubbers, HEPA vacuuming, removing moldy drywall, flooring, and cabinets, and wiping down surfaces with an EPA-approved antimicrobial per the mold protocol.
This customer called Olympic Restoration Systems after they had a Mold Inspector provide them with a mold protocol for their home. The Mold Inspector detected mold and the customer did not want to wait to have the mold remediation that was needed. They already had another Restoration company come out for an assessment and quote. They were not happy with the customer service that was provided to them from that company. They then called Olympic Restoration Systems for a second assessment and quote.
We scheduled an appointment with them and an Olympic Restoration Systems Specialist visited the property and proposed a quote to the customer. They proceeded with the mold remediation with Olympic Restoration Systems for their home.
This customer was having humidity issues in their home. They did some research and wanted to get a quote for a crawl space encapsulation to control their humidity issues in the crawl space, as well as their home.
Olympic Restoration Systems was contacted for an assessment for the crawl space in their home. We had a Specialist visit the property and they proposed a quote to the customer. They proceeded with a crawl space encapsulation and a Bi-Polar® 2400 installation for their home from Olympic Restoration Systems.
This home was for sale back in February 2020. The realtor for the property called Olympic Restoration Systems to come for an assessment of the crawl space to provide options to get rid of the “wet, earthy smell". A potential buyer was considering purchasing the nearly 5000 square foot home. The realtor wanted the overall indoor air quality to be improved for the home. While the home was still on the market, the realtor was provided a quote for an encapsulation of the crawl space. The potential buyers were provided the information during the buying process. Once the family purchased the home, they realized the crawl space was an immediate issue they needed to address. They had a need for installation of electrical components to make the existing sump pump and dehumidifiers work properly, which they had fixed immediatley. After a few months in the home a new problem arose. They noticed that they now had fungus on their wood elements in the crawl space. They called Olympic Restoration Systems back with a need to understand the reason for the fungus growth and wanted a quote to prevent it from returning to their crawl space.
Olympic Restoration Systems was contacted for another assessment of this home. We visited the property for an updated assessment of the home and proposed a quote to the new homeowners. They proceeded with a crawl space encapsulation, debris removal from their crawl space, as well as a radon mitigation system for their new home.
