This homes basement had been finished, but the homeowners noticed an odd musty smell coming from the drywall. This customer's home was built in the '70s and they used the basement as their master bedroom. Over time they have noticed that the waterproofing materials were disintegrating and water was starting to seep into the basement. We demoed half the basement wall that was water damaged and put in our basement wall system. We first put up ThermaDry wall that helps keep warm air in to save on basement heating costs. For a nice finished look, we put in our EverLast Wall Restoration that is compatible with our WaterGuard basement drainage system. The customers were so happy that the basement will no longer leak water but they also have an updated look to the basement.
